Russian psychologist Elizaveta Filonenko said this.
According to him, marriage fundamentally changes the level of responsibility for a man.
"In a civil marriage, this feeling is lower; the man is psychologically and legally less responsible for the woman and, for example, does not have to share the property he acquires with her in case of separation. A man's financial burden also increases with marriage", - the psychologist explained.
According to the expert, men are also not sure that they can live with this woman for life.
Filonenko called the luxurious wedding fashion, which has become popular recently, one of the reasons that prevent men from wanting to get married. He stressed that the cost of the wedding ceremony, rings and honeymoon trips delay men from officially marrying their girlfriends.
